Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel (backend) and React.js/Next.js (frontend).
2. RESTful API Development & Integration: Design and implement secure APIs and integrate third-party APIs relevant to online betting platforms (payment gateways, game APIs, analytics, etc.).
3. Database Management: Optimize and manage complex relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) ensuring data integrity and performance for high-volume betting systems.
4. Real-time Features: Implement and support real-time features such as live betting, chat, and score updates using WebSockets or relevant libraries.
5. UI/UX Collaboration: Work with the design team to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces, especially for casino dashboards and game interfaces.
6. Security & Compliance: Adhere to industry standards for security, especially for handling sensitive user data, betting transactions, and payment integrations.
7. On-call Support: Provide on-call technical support as per the team’s rotation schedule to ensure 24/7 uptime and fast issue resolution.
8. Code Quality & Best Practices: Follow coding standards, write clean and maintainable code, and conduct code reviews using Git workflows.
9. Performance Monitoring & Bug Fixes: Identify performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot reported bugs in production, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
10. Collaboration & Communication: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings using tools like Slack, Jira, or Trello.

Educational Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
2. Candidates with higher qualifications or strong relevant experience in Laravel and React/Next.js will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Laravel (PHP framework)
2. Minimum 1 year of professional experience with React.js or Next.js (JavaScript framework)
3. Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic web applications is preferred
4. Experience with online betting, casino platforms, or related industries will be considered an advantage
5. Familiarity with REST APIs, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, and real-time data handling is required
6. On-call support experience or availability for after-hours troubleshooting is a plus
7. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and working in a team-based environment
8. Knowledge of security best practices for handling financial transactions, user authentication, and sensitive data

Additional Requirements

1. Must have a stable internet connection and suitable environment for remote work
2. Strong understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and clean code practices
3. Ability to troubleshoot production issues quickly, especially during on-call support
4. Good communication skills in English and Bengali
